
It all began in 1995 with a disagreement. Sergey Brin and Larry Page would debate and argue the value of differing approaches to urban planning. What? Yuck! This was truly iron sharpening iron in the fullest sense of the word, but a relationship forged.
Without going through all the mumbo-jumbo (things we both will never understand about computers and internet’s… lol) the first version of Google was released on the Stanford website in August of 1996, just one year after these two mind freaks met.
In 1997, Brin and page decided to “give it a try…” Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were students at Stanford University first incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998 under the name Google Incorporated (from Googol, meaning the number 100 to the hundredth power).
In ten years they went from a friend’s nasty garage to the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA. This is truly Accidental Increase at work! It appears that nothing is impossible…
